Mr. Norris, one of the founding partners of Davis & Norris LLP, represents individuals in all areas of plaintiff practice. He has tried cases before judges, juries, arbitrators, and administrative agencies across the United States. Mr. Norris is admitted to practice before the courts of Alabama, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Alabama. He has been admitted pro hac vice to practice before courts located in New York, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Arkansas. His diverse trial practice encompasses personal injuries, mass torts, environmental contamination, lead poisoning, pharmaceutical litigation, nursing home litigation, medical malpractice, decubitus ulcers (bedsores), automobile accidents, eighteen-wheeler accidents, drunk driver accidents, wrongful death, class actions, insurance fraud, consumer fraud, and wage and hour litigation.

After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served on the Managing Board of the Alabama Law Review and was elected to The Order of the Coif, Mr. Norris clerked for the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama. Before law school, Mr. Norris graduated magna cum laude from Birmingham Southern College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Norris was formerly a partner in the litigation department of a large multi-state law firm. He taught Civil Procedure at the Birmingham School of Law, and he is the co-author of A New Paradigm For International Business Transactions,@ 71 Wash. U. Law Q. 599 (1993).
