Courtney joined the firm in 2010 as an associate. She represents individuals in all areas of plaintiff practice and specializes in the areas of consumer fraud, class actions and mass tort litigation. Courtney is admitted to practice before the courts of Alabama and the Northern District of Alabama. She has been admitted pro hac vice before courts located in Florida. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association.

In 2010, Courtney received her J.D., cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, she served as the Student Bar Association Vice-President and Assistant Articles Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in 2006 from the University of Alabama where she was a member of the University’s Advertising Team.
